Meet Jan Janovsky

Hi, I’m Jan — a professional pianist based in Edmonton, specializing in live music for weddings and special events.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with over 100 couples, helping create ceremonies that feel calm, natural, and genuinely personal — not overly staged or stressful.

Over the years, I’ve performed regularly at venues like the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, as well as internationally on cruise lines including Holland America and Celebrity Cruises.

What I’ve learned is this: the right music doesn’t draw attention to itself — it simply makes everything feel right.
I’m there early, prepared, and paying attention to the details — so you don’t have to think about the music at all.
